Designed and built first at Tumbling J, these mohair pulling collars attach over the saddle swells, with 1” harness leather tugs. 

This style collar is designed to run along the slope of the horse’s shoulder, allowing for completely free movement, providing extra stability while roping and pulling.  

Similar in concept to the purpose of the hames on pulling harnesses on draft horses, these pulling collars are designed  to distribute the load around a horse’s neck and shoulders when pulling. They also help keep your saddle from sliding and are the right choice for any job.
